Where is your furniture and barn doors made?

Our furniture is handcrafted by our teams of artisans in Gainesville, Ga. We’re very proud to offer 100% made in America solid wood furniture, sliding barn doors, and barn door hardware.

How is your furniture made?

We primarily use classic, old-school joinery methods. Screws or bolts are sometimes used for reinforcement. Wood is purchased from local mills and we use only furniture grade lumber except for bed slats and certain framing pieces that aren’t often seen. Most of our furniture and doors are made from pine and most of our prices reflect that; however, we can make any piece that you see in our shop from just about any wood type that we can locate, from alder to zebrawood.

Do you make custom furniture and barn doors other than what is on your website?

Yes, we do! The core of our business is a unique custom furniture and barn doors, and though we prefer to create new designs, we can also create what is known as a reproduction piece. In fact, many of the name-brand designs and styles you see are reproduction pieces themselves. Either way, our goal is to create a piece for you as unique and individual as you are!

Do you have a showroom?

In order to keep our prices low, we do not have a showroom; however, you’re welcome to visit us at our workshop to preview a finished piece or a piece in production. Please use our Contact Form or call Stephen to schedule an appointment.

How do I choose colors and finishes for my project?

If your piece is standard in our shop, we will direct you to our Finishes page. This explains not only our process but how to make your selection.

How do I select barn door sizes when placing my order?

First, you want to make sure that you have correctly measured the opening where your door will be hung. You can view our barn door measuring guidelines here: Barn Door Measuring Guide page. You will then choose the width range and height range under which your door(s) falls and make that selection. You can add your measurements to the note section at checkout or submit your measurements at a later date using our Barn Door Measurement Form.

We are building/remodeling our home right now. Can I submit our door measurements at a later date?

Absolutely! If you are certain that you will be installing barn doors in your new or remodeled home, ordering now means that we will most likely have your doors ready when you need them. We recommend using our Barn Door Measurement Form at any time during the process.

Do you offer delivery?

We offer white glove delivery throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Southern Tennessee and Northern Florida. We try to deliver with other items to save everyone on delivery costs. In addition, we have split delivery options where we can meet at a neutral location midway in between. Or you can choose to pick up your items at our place in Gainesville, Ga. Please see our Shipping and Delivery Page for more information.

Why aren’t some of the items featured in your gallery available for purchase?

Most of our designs are available for purchase; however, we only list those that meet certain criteria. If we get a lot of requests for a particular item, we will usually add it to our online store.

How do I place an order?

Many of our products can be ordered through our online store. For custom pieces or pieces not shown online, please fill out our Contact Form or call Stephen at 770-654-9532. Furniture and barn doors require a deposit of 50% of your total invoice, minus any delivery or set-up/installation fees. Barn door hardware is purchased at 100% of the sales price. Deposits are payable via cash, check, or Paypal. Our turn time is typically 6 to 8 weeks, but that also depends significantly on our build schedule and your actual order. You can view our current schedule here: Project Calendar Note: Orders for headboards, barn doors and smaller pieces can usually be worked into our existing schedule.
